Israel Conducts Intense Strikes in Syria Following Regime Collapse

The Israeli Defense Forces (IDF) have intensified their military operations, shifting their primary battlefront to Syria. IDF Chief of Staff Herzi Halevi announced the strategic move, stating, “Starting tonight, the main battlefront will move to Syria. We will start fighting on the Syrian front and will not allow anyone to reach our borders.”

In a significant escalation, Israeli airstrikes have reportedly destroyed key infrastructure in Damascus, including the Mezzeh Military Airport and the passport and migration office.

The strikes come alongside Israeli forces advancing into the Syrian side of Mount Hermon without facing any resistance.

The Rebel Southern Operations Room, a prominent opposition faction, acknowledged their inability to counter Israeli advances, emphasizing their focus on unifying Syria post-Assad. “This matter does not have our priority currently. We need to work on solidifying a united Syria, free of Assad,” the group stated.

As tensions rise, regional observers are raising alarms about the potential for further escalation, with Israel’s actions signaling a new phase in the conflict. The international community remains on edge as the situation develops.
