During a visit to the Netzarim Corridor, Netanyahu emphasized Israel’s commitment to bringing its citizens home, stating, “The decision is yours, but the result will be the same—we will bring all of our captives home.”
This move comes amid growing protests in Israel, where families of hostages are demanding the government negotiate a ceasefire with Hamas. Netanyahu, who had initially insisted on military action, now signals a shift in strategy with the reward offer.
The conflict has escalated significantly, with over 43,900 Palestinians killed in Gaza since October 7, while Israeli casualties stand at 1,139. Efforts to secure the release of 101 captives remain ongoing.
