An Israeli airstrike on Nasser Hospital in Khan Younis, Gaza, has killed senior Hamas official Ismail Barhoum and a 16-year-old boy, according to health officials.
The 75-year-old Barhoum, a member of Hamas’s political bureau, was receiving treatment at the hospital when the strike occurred. Hamas condemned the attack as a violation of international law, while Israel claimed the hospital was being used for military purposes.

Doctors at the hospital described the destruction as devastating, with fires breaking out following the blast. This strike is part of Israel’s ongoing operations targeting Hamas leadership in Gaza.
