A new report based on UN data has revealed a sharp rise in violence in the occupied West Bank. The findings highlight a major increase in deaths and displacement over recent years.
According to Oxfam, the scale of Israeli Killing in the West Bank has reached levels higher than previous decades. The report shows that more Palestinians were killed in the past three years than in the 17 years before October 2023.
UN-linked data reported by Al Jazeera states that 1,244 Palestinians were killed in the West Bank between 2023 and the end of 2025. Among them were 268 children. These deaths are linked to Israeli forces and settler-related violence.
In comparison, 1,036 Palestinians were killed between 2006 and 2022. That earlier period also included 225 children. The figures show a noticeable rise in fatalities over time.
The report also highlights widespread displacement. Around 46,000 Palestinians were forced to leave their homes in the West Bank over the past three years. In contrast, about 13,000 people were displaced in the previous 14 years.
Observers say Israeli Killing is not the only concern. Military operations, settler attacks, home demolitions, and movement restrictions have also contributed to rising humanitarian pressure in the region.
Oxfam reported that in just the first three months of this year, there were more than 540 settler attacks. During the same period, 33 Palestinians were killed and over 2,200 people were displaced.
Humanitarian groups describe the situation as extremely serious. Oxfamโs Bushra Khalidi called the conditions โtragic and horrifying.โ She said violence has increased significantly in recent years.
She also stated that Gaza has faced severe destruction while the West Bank has seen a surge in instability. The report connects these developments to ongoing conflict and military activity in the occupied territories.
The findings have drawn global attention to the rising human cost in the region. The pattern of Israeli Killing and displacement continues to raise concerns among international observers.
Analysts say the latest data reflects a long-term escalation. They warn that without political progress, the humanitarian situation may continue to worsen.
