Snoop Dogg will carry the Olympic torch in its final stages before it reaches the Eiffel Tower.

The 52-year-old rapper posted a photo of himself outside Hotel de Ville with the caption: “U Ready? Paris 2024 Olympics ya digggg.”

He will carry the torch through Saint-Denis, a Paris suburb, where a concert by French Eurovision star Slimane will take place in front of the Basilica Cathedral.

The torch, which was lit in Greece in April at ancient Olympia, is being carried across France in a relay. The 68th stage will see it pass through the Olympic Village, Aquatics Centre, Stade de France, and along the Seine.

While Snoop Dogg’s turn is this week, other rappers have previously carried the Olympic torch during other games.
