Student Uses Paragliding to Reach College Exam on Time, Beating Traffic in India

In Maharashtra’s Satara district, Samarth Mahangade, a student from Pasarani village, came up with a creative solution to avoid traffic by paragliding to his exam center. The video of him soaring through the sky with his college bag has made him a social media sensation.

While in Panchgani for personal reasons, Samarth realized he only had 15-20 minutes to reach his exam venue. Knowing that the Pasarani Ghat section of the Wai-Panchgani road would be clogged with traffic, he decided to take an unconventional route.

Adventure sports expert Govind Yewale from GP Adventures in Panchgani assisted him by arranging a paragliding flight over the congested area. Equipped with the proper gear, Samarth safely landed near his college under the supervision of experienced instructors.

The incident took place in Satara, a well-known paragliding hub in western Maharashtra. The video of his unique journey quickly went viral after being shared on social media.
