Trump Breaks Silence on the Pakistan-Afghanistan War; His Statement Shocks Many!

WASHINGTON: US President Donald Trump has announced plans to help reduce rising tensions between Pakistan and Afghanistan following a series of deadly border clashes.

Speaking to reporters aboard Air Force One during his trip from the United States to Israel, Trump said he was closely monitoring the situation between the two neighboring countries. He described himself as β€œan expert in resolving wars” and promised to β€œlook into the issue” once he returned from the Middle East.

Trump claimed that he had previously played a role in preventing a potential war between Pakistan and India through economic measures. He said, β€œI helped save millions of lives once, and I will do it again. My goal is not to win a Nobel Prize but to stop wars.”

His remarks came amid growing hostilities between Pakistani forces and Afghanistan-based militant groups. According to reports, following recent attacks by the Afghan Taliban and India-backed faction Fitanat-ul-Khawarij, the Pakistan Army launched a strong counter-operation across the border.

The Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR) confirmed that Pakistan carried out aerial strikes and ground assaults, destroying several Taliban posts and checkpoints. The military’s response reportedly killed over 200 militants, while 23 Pakistani soldiers embraced martyrdom defending the nation.

Pakistan’s operation also resulted in the temporary capture of 21 enemy positions. Officials stated that the strikes were conducted to ensure border security and eliminate threats from cross-border terrorism.

Observers believe that Trump’s latest comments reflect his continued interest in South Asian geopolitics, particularly the complex relationship between Pakistan, Afghanistan, and India. Analysts say his involvement, if pursued, could influence future peace efforts in the region.
