Speaking to Fox Business, Ratcliffe said Trump questioned Zelenskyโs commitment to the peace process, leading to the pause. However, he indicated that support could resume soon following a letter from Zelensky to Trump.

The decision has already impacted Ukraineโs military operations, with a reduction in US surveillance and reconnaissance flights. Ukrainian officials, who rely on US intelligence for battlefield awareness, are now assessing the consequences of this pause.
US military officials had previously briefed Trumpโs transition team on the importance of intelligence cooperation with Ukraine. The situation remains fluid as both sides evaluate the next steps.
