The United States has presented a 15-point Peace Plan to Iran as the conflict in the Middle East enters its fourth week. The proposal aims to achieve a ceasefire and reduce escalating hostilities across the region.
According to reports, the Peace Plan was delivered through diplomatic channels via Islamabad. The move reflects Washington’s urgency to contain a conflict that has already involved countries such as the UAE, Saudi Arabia, and Kuwait. However, it remains unclear whether Iran will accept the proposal.
The plan begins with a one-month ceasefire. This pause in fighting is intended to create a stable environment for negotiations. Officials believe this step is essential to open the door for long-term diplomatic engagement.
A major part of the Peace Plan focuses on Iran’s nuclear program. The proposal calls for dismantling infrastructure linked to nuclear weapons development. It also requires Iran to stop uranium enrichment activities completely. All nuclear materials would be placed under international supervision.
Key nuclear facilities, including Natanz, Isfahan, and Fordow, would be closed under the plan. International inspectors would be given unrestricted access to ensure compliance. These measures aim to reduce the risk of nuclear escalation in the region.
The proposal also addresses Iran’s regional influence. Tehran would be required to stop supporting proxy groups and end funding or training activities. The plan also calls for keeping the Strait of Hormuz open to ensure global energy supplies remain stable.
In addition, Iran’s missile development program would face gradual restrictions. The country would be limited to a defensive military posture under the agreement. These steps are designed to reduce tensions and prevent further conflict.
In return, the United States has offered economic incentives. These include lifting sanctions and allowing Iran to rejoin global trade systems. The plan also supports peaceful nuclear energy projects under international oversight.
Despite the diplomatic push, military operations continue. The White House confirmed that talks are being explored, but operations under “Operation Epic Fury” are ongoing. The US has also deployed around 2,000 troops from the 82nd Airborne Division to the region.
