Pop Star Sabrina Carpenter Demands White House To Stop Using Her Music

Pop star Sabrina Carpenter has publicly demanded that the White House stop using her music in political videos. On Monday, the Trump administration shared a social media clip featuring her 2024 hit song “Juno.” The video showed ICE agents apprehending people and included the caption, “Have you ever tried this one? Bye-bye,” referencing lyrics from the song.

In response, Pop star Sabrina wrote on X, “This video is evil and disgusting. Do not ever involve me or my music to benefit your inhumane agenda.” She expressed strong opposition to her song being associated with federal immigration enforcement actions.

A White House spokeswoman, Abigail Jackson, replied sharply, saying, “Here’s a Short n’ Sweet message for Sabrina Carpenter: we won’t apologize for deporting dangerous criminal illegal murderers, rapists, and pedophiles from our country.” The comment drew further attention to the dispute between the pop star and the administration.

Pop star Sabrina joins a growing list of musicians who have objected to President Trump using their music without permission. Past objections have included high-profile names like Neil Young and The Rolling Stones. These artists have consistently called for their music to remain separate from political messaging.

Monday’s video appeared to promote the Trump administration’s ongoing immigration crackdown. Critics have condemned tactics such as courthouse arrests, street corner detentions in Hispanic neighborhoods, and raids of apartment buildings targeting people suspected of living in the U.S. illegally.

Carpenter, 25, is a Grammy Award-nominated singer and actress with a strong public following. Her stance highlights increasing concern among entertainers about how their work is used in political campaigns and government communications.

This incident marks another clash between artists and the Trump administration over music rights. Fans of Pop star Sabrina have expressed support for her refusal to allow her music to endorse government actions she considers unethical.
