Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) Chairman Imran Khan has recorded his statement under Article 342 in the Toshakhana criminal case at the Islamabad District and Sessions Court. He has decided to present evidence in his defense, asserting that the case has been politically motivated.

During the court proceedings, Imran Khan signed the statement he recorded, which addressed 35 questions posed by the court. When asked if he was satisfied with his answers, he responded in the affirmative.
The court adjourned the hearing till 9:30 am the following day and rejected the request of the defense lawyers for additional time to present the list of witnesses. Despite the setback, Imran Khan’s legal team intends to compile the list and present it at a later date.
Imran Khan maintained that the Toshakhana case was registered on political grounds and accused the prosecution witnesses of being influenced by the government.
Simultaneously, the Supreme Court is set to conduct a hearing tomorrow on Imran Khan’s appeal against the high court’s order that rejected a stay order in the Toshakhana case.
As the Toshakhana case progresses, Imran Khan remains firm in defending his position and vows to provide evidence in support of his innocence. The court proceedings continue to attract attention as the PTI Chairman addresses the charges against him.
