Popular TikToker and social media personality Alina Amir has publicly denied claims of an alleged leaked video attributed to her. She confirmed the content was entirely fabricated using artificial intelligence (AI).
In an Instagram video, Alina explained that she initially chose not to respond to the rumors. โFor an entire week, I observed the situation quietly and did not intend to react,โ she said. However, when hundreds of posts falsely claiming her video had leaked began circulating, she felt compelled to speak.
Alina stressed that the alleged video is not authentic and urged users to verify content before sharing it online. โIf you are going to upload or circulate material, confirm whether it is genuine or AI-generated,โ she added, highlighting the dangers of misinformation.
Appeal for Legal Action Against AI-Based Harassment
The TikToker made a direct appeal to Punjab Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz, urging strict action against those creating AI-generated content targeting women. She emphasized that AI-based harassment is a serious crime. Alina also praised the Crime Control Department (CCD) for handling harassment and child abuse cases effectively.
Alina announced a cash reward for anyone who provides credible information to identify the person behind the fabricated video. โThe responsible person must be punished to prevent future incidents,โ she said.
Issue Extends Beyond Celebrities
While addressing her personal experience, Alina highlighted that the problem goes beyond celebrities. Ordinary individuals face even more severe consequences, as such content can reach homes and families, causing long-term trauma. She underscored the importance of women speaking up without fear in the digital age.
