Digital Trucks in New York Display “Kashmir Is Not Forgotten” Message

Digital trucks displaying the message of Kashmir solidarity moved across major locations in New York City on February 5. The campaign marked Kashmir Solidarity Day and aimed to raise awareness about the issue among the global audience.

The digital trucks were seen near the United Nations headquarters, Times Square, Freedom Tower, and other busy areas. Organizers said the trucks carried LED screens with messages about Kashmir. These mobile displays reached an estimated 40,000 to 50,000 people daily.

According to the World Kashmir Awareness Forum, the digital trucks were part of an outreach campaign. The goal was to inform diplomats, tourists, and local residents about the Kashmir dispute. Organizers said the campaign highlighted that Kashmir remains an unresolved international issue.

Speakers at the event expressed concern over the lack of global attention to the conflict. They said the international community must take the situation more seriously. Some leaders warned that the dispute could affect regional and global stability if left unresolved.

Organizers also used the digital trucks to display messages calling for dialogue and peaceful resolution. They stressed that the Kashmir issue should be addressed according to international law and United Nations resolutions. The campaign emphasized the need for peaceful negotiations among all parties.

Kashmiri diaspora leaders said the digital trucks were a modern and effective way to reach large audiences. They noted that the campaign helped bring the Kashmir issue into global public spaces. Many activists said such efforts are important to keep the issue visible internationally.

Several speakers called for renewed diplomatic efforts. They said a peaceful solution would help ensure stability in South Asia. They also stressed the importance of dialogue among India, Pakistan, and the Kashmiri people.
