ISLAMABAD: A delegation of the PTI, along with opposition leader Mehmood Achakzai, met JUI-F chief Maulana Fazlur Rehman to discuss the political situation in Pakistan.
During the meeting, Fazlur Rehman proposed a long-term collaboration between the opposition parties to strengthen their political strategy, sources said. The PTI leaders and Achakzai reportedly endorsed his views.

Leaders expressed optimism that cooperation with JUI-F could address electoral challenges and improve opposition coordination at both provincial and national levels.
Political analysts said the talks between PTI and JUI-F signal a possible reshaping of opposition alliances ahead of upcoming elections. They noted that such collaboration could have significant implications for Pakistanโs political landscape.
