Pakistanโs foreign exchange market showed mixed but mostly stable movement on April 26, 2026, as major global and regional currencies maintained their positions against the rupee.
According to the latest market data, the Currency market remained calm with only minor changes in buying and selling rates. Traders reported steady demand for major foreign currencies, especially the US Dollar, Euro, and British Pound.
The US Dollar remained unchanged and was traded at Rs279.2 for buying and Rs279.85 for selling in the open market.
The Euro also held its ground. It was available at Rs325.94 for buying and Rs331.41 for selling. Meanwhile, the UK Pound Sterling continued to remain strong against the Pakistani rupee at Rs375.87 for buying and Rs381.25 for selling.
Among Gulf currencies, the UAE Dirham was recorded at Rs75.9 for buying and Rs76.95 for selling. The Saudi Riyal stood at Rs74.4 for buying and Rs75.35 for selling.
The Qatari Riyal was traded at Rs71.3 for buying and Rs72.75 for selling. The Omani Riyal remained one of the highest-valued regional currencies at Rs721.3 for buying and Rs732.45 for selling.
Experts said stable remittance inflows from Gulf countries continue to support demand for these currencies.
The broader Currency market also showed steady performance for other international currencies.
The Australian Dollar was priced at Rs197.03 for buying and Rs201.7 for selling. The Canadian Dollar stood at Rs202.16 and Rs206.75.
Chinaโs Yuan was traded at Rs39.25 for buying and Rs39.75 for selling. The Indian Rupee remained at Rs2.15 and Rs2.35.
The Kuwaiti Dinar stayed among the highest-valued foreign currencies at Rs877.45 for buying and Rs889.42 for selling.
Other currencies, including the Singapore Dollar, Swiss Franc, Japanese Yen, and Thai Baht, also recorded minor fluctuations.
