The Capital Development Authority carried out a major anti-encroachment operation in Islamabad, demolishing an FC Camp office built on public land. The move is part of an ongoing campaign to remove illegal structures across the federal capital.
The operation was conducted near Islamabad Marriott Hotel and Ayub Chowk on a green belt area. It was supervised by Federal Interior Minister Mohsin Naqvi, who is leading the crackdown against encroachments.
Sohail Ashraf, who also serves as Chief Commissioner Islamabad, was present at the site during the demolition. Officials from the Frontier Corps attended the operation alongside CDA enforcement teams and district administration staff.
Heavy machinery was used to remove the structure, ensuring the clearance of the illegally occupied land. Authorities stated that the operation was carried out smoothly without any resistance or disruption.
Interior Minister Mohsin Naqvi emphasized that the anti-encroachment drive will continue without exception. He made it clear that no pressure or influence will be allowed to interfere with the removal of illegal structures.
The minister also assured that an alternative legal space would be provided for the FC Camp office. He reiterated the governmentโs zero-tolerance policy, stating that no public or private entity will be allowed to occupy state land unlawfully.
