Sikh Pilgrims Perform Religious Rituals at Gurdwara Panja Sahib and Appreciate Pakistan’s Hospitality

Religious activities and spiritual ceremonies are continuing at Gurdwara Panja Sahib as Sikh Pilgrims visiting Pakistan take part in their sacred journey. The historic shrine remains a key destination for devotees who have traveled to Pakistan to perform prayers and religious rituals.

The visit is being facilitated through arrangements made by the Evacuee Trust Property Board (ETPB) and the Ministry of Religious Affairs and Interfaith Harmony. During their stay, the pilgrims have offered special prayers and paid respects at one of Sikhism’s most important religious sites.

Authorities have arranged comprehensive facilities for the visitors. These include accommodation, transportation, langar services, and medical assistance. Officials stated that all necessary measures have been taken to ensure a comfortable and safe experience for the pilgrims.

Special arrangements have also been made to help visitors cope with the ongoing summer heat. Cold drinking water, medical camps, emergency healthcare services, and ambulance facilities are available at the site. Cleanliness measures have been strengthened throughout the gurdwara premises.

The district administration and security agencies are also providing security to ensure the smooth conduct of religious activities. Officials said visitor safety remains a top priority throughout the pilgrimage.

Visiting Sikh Pilgrims expressed satisfaction with the arrangements made during their stay. They appreciated the accommodation, transportation, community meals, healthcare services, and overall management of the pilgrimage.

Many pilgrims thanked the Government of Pakistan and the Evacuee Trust Property Board for their hospitality. They praised the efforts made to preserve Sikh religious heritage and facilitate religious tourism.

The visitors also highlighted Pakistan’s commitment to religious freedom and interfaith harmony. According to the pilgrims, Sikh holy sites in Pakistan have become more secure, peaceful, and well-maintained over the years.

Under the pilgrimage schedule, the Sikh Pilgrims will depart from Gurdwara Panja Sahib on June 14. They will then travel to Gurdwara Darbar Sahib Kartarpur, where they will spend a day performing religious ceremonies and prayers.

After Kartarpur, the pilgrims will visit Gurdwara Rori Sahib before heading to Lahore. The main event of the pilgrimage will take place on June 16 at Gurdwara Dera Sahib, where ceremonies will be held to mark the martyrdom anniversary of Guru Arjan Dev.
