PTI leader and former National Assembly speaker Asad Qaiser criticized the PML-N and PPP, stating that they should “show some grace and step aside from the government.” His comments came after both parties reached a deal to form a coalition government in the Centre, with Shehbaz Sharif set to become prime minister again, and Asif Ali Zardari as president.

Qaiser argued that Shehbaz had a “minority stake” in the elections and urged the opposition parties to step aside. He also criticized Ishaq Dar’s handling of the economy during his previous tenure as finance minister.
