The Punjab government has approved the “Apni Chhat Apna Ghar” project, which will cover 519 acres of land in five major cities, including Lahore. The project aims to provide housing for low-income homeless individuals, with the identification of land already underway in these cities. Under the leadership of Punjab Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz, a special session was held to discuss the construction of model houses and monthly installment plans for the project.
An agreement has been made with the Pakistan Council of Architects and Town Planners (PCATP) to consult on the designs of the houses. Chief Minister Maryam directed the project to be launched near the cities, emphasizing the importance of providing quality homes at minimal cost.

Additionally, Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz highlighted the significance of the Chinese language in strengthening ties with China. She emphasized the importance of proficiency in Chinese for connecting with the Chinese market, noting China’s economic prosperity and its status as one of the six official languages of the United Nations (UN).
She underscored that China has launched numerous projects for economic prosperity in Pakistan, emphasizing the global acknowledgment of the importance of the Chinese language.
