The Peshawar High Court issued an injunction on Saturday preventing the forced deportation of Afghan musicians back to Afghanistan from Pakistan.
This decision came in response to a petition filed by the afghan musicians seeking asylum in Pakistan, and it prohibits authorities from repatriating them until the next court hearing.

According to the written order, Advocate Amir Javaid has been appointed as the court’s assistant to handle the case due to its significance. The court also instructed the office to provide copies of relevant documents to the assistant prosecutor.
Meanwhile, the repatriation of illegal Afghan nationals continues, with a total of 620,981 Afghans having returned to Afghanistan so far. Between June 11 and 21 alone, 13,815 Afghans returned home, including 5,014 men, 4,087 women, and 4,714 children.
