Recently, the top Tekken player Arslan Ash faced challenges when his fightstick malfunctioned at the Esports World Cup in Riyadh, leading to an early exit from the group stage.
However, Arslan redeemed himself with a dominant performance at Thunderstruck 2024 in Monterrey, Mexico. He won both the Tekken 8 and King of Fighters XV tournaments at the event.

The King of Fighters series, pivotal to Pakistan’s fighting game community, saw Arslan clinch the title in Mexico, defeating local favorite DanyKOF 2-0 in the semifinals and 3-0 in the grand finals.
In Tekken, Arslan also triumphed, winning an all-Pakistani Grand Final against Farzeen with scores of 2-0 and 3-0. This success comes as a boost ahead of the Tekken World Tour Finals, where Arslan is currently 3rd globally, with Farzeen leading Pakistan’s regional rankings and securing a spot in the finals.
With only three major events left, every point is vital as Arslan and Farzeen prepare for the upcoming tournament.
