Billionaire Elon Musk has pledged to give away $1 million each day until November’s election to individuals who sign his online petition, with the first prize being awarded at an event supporting Republican Donald Trump. At the America PAC event in Harrisburg, Pennsylvania, Musk presented a $1 million check to attendee John Dreher, according to event staff.
This initiative is part of Musk’s efforts to leverage his wealth to influence the highly competitive presidential race between Trump and his Democratic opponent, Vice President Kamala Harris. Musk established America PAC to support Trump’s campaign and has donated nearly $75 million to the organization.

In addition to the daily giveaways, Musk has promised residents in swing states $47 for each registered voter who signs his petition. Trump’s campaign has recognized Musk’s contributions, with the former president praising him at various campaign events this week. Trump has appointed Musk to lead a committee focused on reducing government bureaucracy and waste if he wins the election.
Despite Musk’s financial backing and involvement, some Republicans have expressed concerns about America PAC’s grassroots efforts, indicating that the organization has a relatively limited presence on the ground in swing states, even with its significant spending.
