This recent drop comes after a significant decline on Thursday, when gold prices dropped by Rs2,300 to close at Rs283,100 per tola. Earlier in the week, on Wednesday, prices reached an all-time high of Rs285,400 per tola due to heightened demand driven by economic and geopolitical uncertainties.

In the international market, gold prices fell by $8 on Friday to $2,726 per ounce, plus an additional premium of $20.

In contrast, silver prices remained unchanged at Rs3,350 per tola in the local market, showing no impact from the fluctuations in gold prices.
