Since taking command in November 2022, General Munir has been recognized for his strong dedication to the security, stability, and prosperity of Pakistan.
A significant aspect of General Munir’s leadership has been his focus on countering the Tehrik-i Taliban Pakistan (TTP), also known as Fitna al Khawarij. The publication reports that, under his guidance, the military has executed an impressive 22,409 intelligence-based operations against terrorist elements and their supporters from November 2022 to July 2024.

These extensive operations have resulted in the elimination of 398 terrorists, including 31 high-value targets, further reinforcing the army’s commitment to eradicating terrorism in the region.
