Mumbai Police have launched an investigation after receiving a call warning of a possible terror attack on Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s aircraft. The threat came ahead of his official visits to France and the United States.
According to reports, the call was made to the Mumbai Police Control Room on February 11, claiming that terrorists might target Modi’s plane. Given the seriousness of the warning, security agencies were immediately alerted, and an investigation was launched before his departure.

In a statement, Mumbai Police confirmed that they had informed other law enforcement agencies and tightened security around the Prime Minister’s travel arrangements. However, authorities have not yet disclosed details regarding the source of the call or any verified threats.
Investigations are ongoing to assess the credibility of the warning, as security forces remain on high alert to ensure Modi’s safe travels.
