‘Pokémon Go’ Maker Niantic in Talks for $3.5 Billion Sale to Saudi-Owned Firm

Niantic Inc., the company behind Pokémon Go, is reportedly in discussions to sell its video game business to Scopely Inc., a mobile game company owned by Saudi Arabia’s Public Investment Fund. The deal, valued at approximately $3.5 billion, could be finalized in the coming weeks.
