Pakistani boxer Shaheer Afridi defeats Indian rival in Bangkok

Pakistani boxing star Shahir Afridi stunned crowds in Bangkok after knocking out Indian fighter Tarjot Singh in the fourth round of their high-stakes bout. The technical knockout (TKO) marked Afridi’s 18th professional win and sparked celebrations back home.

The explosive finish left no doubt about Afridi’s superiority in the ring, earning him widespread praise. Sindh Local Government Minister Saeed Ghani called it a proud moment for the nation, describing it as a symbolic response to ongoing Indian hostility.

Following the victory, Afridi dedicated his win to the martyrs of the Pakistan Armed Forces and thanked key sponsors including PPP Chairman Bilawal Bhutto Zardari and cricket legend Shahid Afridi. “Today in Bangkok, I won my 18th pro boxing fight… I dedicate this victory to the brave martyrs,” he posted on social media.

Shahid Afridi responded with a message of encouragement, saying the entire country stood behind the young boxer. “Very well done… this is only the beginning,” he tweeted.
