Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) has unveiled plans for a three-day protest march across Sindh, demanding the release of the party’s founding chairman. The march, scheduled from May 23 to 25, will begin in Karachi and end in Sukkur, with the party’s central and provincial leadership actively participating.
The announcement was made during a press conference by PTI Central Additional Secretary General and former opposition leader in the Sindh Assembly, Firdous Shamim Naqvi. He stated that the protest would kick off after Friday prayers on May 23 from Sohrab Goth, with the caravan making stops in Hyderabad and Nawabshah before reaching Sukkur.

A major public gathering is planned in Sukkur on May 25, where PTI leaders will address supporters and reiterate demands for the release of their incarcerated leader. The party maintains that the protest is peaceful in nature and aimed at drawing attention to what it describes as political victimisation.
Naqvi warned that any attempt by authorities to block the march or use force against participants would be met with immediate sit-ins at the site of obstruction. He urged the government to allow democratic expression and avoid confrontation.
This protest marks a renewed wave of political activism by PTI in Sindh, as it continues to challenge the government’s actions against its leadership.
