Gold prices in Pakistan saw a significant decline, mirroring a similar downward trend in global markets.
As per data from the All Pakistan Gems and Jewellers Sarafa Association (APGJSA), the price of 24-karat gold dropped by Rs5,000 per tola, settling at Rs351,000. Meanwhile, the rate for 10 grams decreased by Rs4,287, reaching Rs300,925.

This recent decline follows a previous drop of Rs3,800 per tola just three days ago, when domestic gold rates fell to Rs354,365.
Market experts link the volatility to fluctuating trends in the international bullion market and changing investor behavior. Globally, gold prices fell by $53 per ounce, bringing the international rate to $3,290, which includes a $20 premium.
