AlBaik is Officially Coming to Pakistan – Check Opening Date & Locations

Saudi Arabia’s renowned fast-food chain, AlBaik, is set to enter the Pakistani market, with preparations for its launch now in the final stages.

During a meeting in Jeddah, Commerce Minister Jam Kamal Khan and AlBaik’s owner, Rami Abu Ghazala, discussed the operational framework and potential locations for its outlets in major cities across Pakistan.

The commerce minister, currently on an official visit to Saudi Arabia, also held discussions with leading Saudi businessmen to explore opportunities for enhancing trade relations between the two countries. He highlighted Pakistan’s improving business environment, supported by initiatives such as the Single Window system and the National Compliance Center.

Saudi investors have shown significant interest in Pakistan’s energy, agriculture, IT, and construction sectors, with both nations agreeing to strengthen economic ties.

Jam Kamal Khan noted that Saudi exports to Pakistan have increased by 22%, bringing the total trade volume to $700 million. Additionally, remittances from Pakistani workers in Saudi Arabia reached $7.4 billion, underscoring the robust financial relationship between the two nations.

The recent visa reforms by the Saudi government, allowing GCC citizens visa-free entry for up to 90 days, are expected to further boost economic collaboration. The minister reiterated that Pakistan offers a favorable business climate with ample opportunities for expansion.
