Gold Prices in Pakistan Increase by Rs3,000 Per Tola – New Rate

Gold Prices in Pakistan Increase by Rs3,000 Per Tola - New Rate

Gold prices in Pakistan continued to move higher on Friday, marking the second consecutive day of gains. The increase followed a strong upward trend in the international bullion market.

According to the All Pakistan Sarafa Association, the price of 24-karat gold increased by Rs3,000 per tola. With this rise, the new rate reached Rs430,436 per tola in the local market.

The price of 10 grams of 24-karat gold also recorded an increase. It climbed by Rs2,572 to settle at Rs369,029.

The latest rise in Gold prices reflects the impact of higher international rates. Local bullion markets often adjust their prices in line with global trends and changes in the value of precious metals.

While gold became more expensive, silver moved in the opposite direction. The price of one tola of silver fell by Rs79, bringing the new rate down to Rs6,294.

Internationally, gold also recorded strong gains during Friday’s trading session. The global price increased by $30 per ounce.

Following the latest increase, the international gold rate reached $4,080 per ounce. Analysts said higher global demand and market sentiment continued to support precious metal prices.

The rise in global bullion values directly influenced Pakistan’s local market. Traders noted that international price movements remain one of the biggest factors affecting domestic gold rates.

The increase comes after another positive session earlier this week. The back-to-back gains indicate continued strength in both local and international bullion markets.

Meanwhile, Pakistan’s stock market also showed positive performance on Friday. The Pakistan Stock Exchange (PSX) witnessed strong buying activity during early trading hours.

The benchmark KSE-100 Index crossed the 176,000-point level after gaining more than 1,300 points. The index reached 176,920 points during the session.

The market had closed at 175,547 points in the previous trading session. Friday’s gains reflected renewed investor confidence and stronger market momentum.

Financial experts said both the stock market and bullion market remained active as investors monitored local and international economic developments.

The latest movement in Gold prices highlights the close connection between Pakistan’s bullion market and global commodity trends. Any significant change in international gold rates can quickly influence local prices.
