Gold prices in Pakistan have surged to historic highs, with the per tola rate surpassing Rs 282,000 for the first time.
In recent trading, the price of 24-carat gold per tola increased by Rs 500, reaching Rs 282,300, while the cost of 10 grams rose by Rs 429, now standing at Rs 242,027.

On the global market, the price of gold per ounce also reached a new peak, climbing by $5 to $2,726.
