KARACHI – Gold prices in Pakistan continued to fall for the second consecutive day amid declining global prices on Wednesday, May 22.
According to the Sarafa Association, the price of 24-karat gold per tola decreased by Rs300, bringing it to Rs248,200. Meanwhile, the price for 10 grams of gold fell by Rs236, settling at Rs212,791.
In the international market, the price of gold dropped by $3, closing at $2,395 per ounce.

On May 21, the per tola gold price fell by Rs1,900, reaching Rs248,500, while the price for 10 grams of gold dropped by Rs1,630, bringing it to Rs213,048.
