Gold Prices in Pakistan Experience Small Decline

On Tuesday, Gold Prices in Pakistan fell slightly after a day of stability, with the price per tola dropping by Rs1,000 to Rs261,500, reflecting a decline in international gold rates.

According to the All-Pakistan Gems and Jewellers Sarafa Association (APGJSA), the price of 10 grams of 24-karat gold decreased by Rs857, reaching Rs224,194.

Globally, gold prices also fell, with the international rate dropping to $2,498 per ounce, down by $5 during the trading day, as noted by APGJSA.

In contrast, silver prices in the local market remained unchanged at Rs2,950 per tola.

The local gold market’s fluctuations are influenced by international market trends, currency exchange rates, and domestic demand.
