The global gold market also experienced a decline on the same day, with the price per ounce dropping by $17 to $2,410, according to the APGJSA. In addition to gold, silver prices in Pakistan decreased by Rs50 per tola, reaching Rs2,850, with no change in the silver market.

Earlier in the month, gold prices in Pakistan had surged to an all-time high, with the per tola rate hitting Rs254,000 after a rise of Rs4,600.

This recent decline highlights the volatility and substantial fluctuations in the precious metals market, driven by both domestic and international economic conditions.
