OMODA & JAECOO have surpassed 100,000 vehicle sales in the United Kingdom within two years.
The milestone highlights the rapid growth of the Chinese automotive brands in one of Europe’s major vehicle markets.
The achievement comes shortly before OMODA marks its second anniversary in the UK on August 31.
JAECOO entered the UK market later, launching in January 2025.
Since their arrival, the brands have expanded their dealer network to more than 144 locations nationwide.
Together, they have achieved a UK market share of nearly 5.7%.
JAECOO 7 Leads UK Sales
The JAECOO 7 has emerged as the strongest-selling model for the brands in Britain.
More than 53,000 units have been registered since its UK launch in February 2025.
The vehicle has also appeared regularly among the UK’s top 10 best-selling cars.
Retail customers represent 66% of JAECOO 7 registrations.
Around 75% of customers selected the flagship SHS-P plug-in hybrid version.
OMODA 5 Records More Than 36,500 Sales
The OMODA 5 has also contributed significantly to the brands’ UK performance.
The model entered the British market in August 2024.
Since then, it has recorded more than 36,500 sales.
Retail buyers account for 71% of its registrations.
Its UK lineup has expanded beyond the original offering. Customers can now choose hybrid and fully electric powertrains.
The wider portfolio includes OMODA 5, OMODA 7 and OMODA 9 models.
JAECOO’s range includes the JAECOO 5, JAECOO 7 and JAECOO 8.
Together, these models offer petrol, hybrid, plug-in hybrid and fully electric options.
OMODA & JAECOO Expand in Pakistan
The brands have also continued expanding their presence in Pakistan.
Following their 2025 launch, they have increased their locally assembled vehicle portfolio.
The companies have also strengthened their dealership presence across Pakistan.
They have crossed the milestone of 10,000 locally assembled vehicles at Nishat Group’s Faisalabad plant.
Models including the JAECOO J7 SHS-P and JAECOO J5 SHS-H are part of the local lineup.
The OMODA 7 SHS-P has also joined the locally assembled portfolio for Pakistani consumers.
Brands Target Further Global Growth
OMODA & JAECOO UK Chief Executive Gary Lan credited investment in people and retailer networks for the growth.
He also highlighted the importance of improving the overall ownership experience.
Lan described crossing 100,000 sales within two years as an important achievement for the brands and their partners.
The UK milestone adds to the brands’ growing international presence.
Further products, customer initiatives and market expansion are also planned.
