Once again, the National Medical and Dental College Admission Test (MDCAT) retake exam in Sindh is embroiled in controversy. Ary News reported that the MDCAT retake exam was allegedly leaked on social media just hours before the scheduled test time.
However, according to Dr. Saad Khalid, the provincial caretaker health minister, the claims of a paper leak are deemed inaccurate.

Additionally, some candidates encountered issues with the test’s online portal. A student mentioned receiving confirmation of passing the test but was marked as failed on the portal.
Recall that the provincial government had decided to conduct a retake of the exam following confirmation from an investigation team that the previous paper had been leaked. Stringent actions were promised against those implicated in the paper leak. Now, with reports of another potential leak, it remains uncertain whether a new inquiry will be initiated.
