PTI Proposes Ali Amin Gandapur as Nominee for Chief Minister in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa

The Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) has officially designated Ali Amin Gandapur as its candidate for the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa chief minister position, as announced on Tuesday.

The decision to nominate Gandapur for the KP CM role has been endorsed by the PTI founder. This move comes after Gandapur emerged as the triumphant candidate from NA-44 (Dera Ismail Khan), securing 93,443 votes on February 8, defeating Jamiat Ulema-e-Islam-Fazl (JUI-F) chief Maulana Fazlur Rehman.

In an informal conversation with the media at Adiala Jail, the former PTI chairman conveyed that there would be no discussions with the Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N), the Pakistan Peoples Party (PPP), and the Muttahida Qaumi Movement (MQM) regarding the formation of the central government.

Revealing the party’s strong standing, the former prime minister stated confidently, “KP’s chief minister will be Ali Amin Gandapur.” With PTI securing 84 seats in the KP Assembly, Khan’s party is poised to take a prominent role in establishing the government.
