Bollywood actor-turned-producer, Aamir Khan, made a significant announcement on Tuesday via Instagram.
Aamir Khan revealed that his next production will feature actor Sunny Deol in the lead role and will focus on the Partition of Lahore. The film’s title, “Lahore, 1947,” was also unveiled, and it will be directed by Rajkumar Santoshi.

Rajkumar Santoshi and Sunny Deol have previously collaborated on several successful films, including “Ghayal” (1990), “Damini” (1993), and “Ghatak” (1996). Aamir Khan expressed his excitement about the project and the opportunity to work with Sunny Deol and Rajkumar Santoshi again in his Instagram post.
The plot of the movie has not been disclosed yet. Aamir Khan’s last production, “Laal Singh Chaddha,” was released on Netflix after struggling to attract audiences to cinemas. On the other hand, Sunny Deol’s recent film, “Gadar 2,” became a major box office success, earning over INR 5.26 billion.
