Film actress Nargis, also known as Ghazala Idris, has allegedly been assaulted by her husband, Inspector Majid Bashir, during a domestic dispute in Lahore’s Defence area. According to police, the altercation reportedly stemmed from a disagreement over financial matters.
Late at night, Nargis visited the local police station but has not filed an official complaint. The police stated that they have yet to receive a formal request for legal action from Nargis or her family, although her brother claims this was not the first incident of abuse.

Nargis, who left the film industry to manage her beauty salon, was said to have been visibly injured. Her brother Khurram alerted authorities via emergency services, prompting police to respond to the situation.
Despite the incident, Nargis and her family remain hesitant about taking legal steps. Khurram has called for action, asserting that Inspector Bashir regularly mistreats his sister, and hopes the authorities will intervene to prevent further abuse.
