Indian actor and producer Alia Bhatt marked her 33rd birthday with a personal announcement. She introduced a new children-focused division of her production company, Eternal Sunshine Productions, called Eternal Kids.
The new label aims to revive magical childhood stories inspired by her late grandfather, Narendranath Razdan. Alia Bhatt said the stories shaped her and her sister, Shaheen Bhatt, growing up, and now she wants to share them with a wider audience.
The announcement came through an Instagram post, where Alia Bhatt revealed that Eternal Kids already has three projects in development. The titles remain undisclosed, but she hinted that they are based on tales and characters created by her grandfather.
“Our production company, Eternal Sunshine, has just welcomed a new addition. Meet Eternal Kids. We already have three thrilling projects in the works,” she wrote. “These are based on tales and characters created by my grandfather. Shaheen and I were raised on these stories, and we are excited to share them with you. We miss you, Grandpa.”
Alongside launching Eternal Kids, Alia Bhatt and her sister are also working on a Prime Video film titled Don’t Be Shy, directed by Sreeti Mukerji. The film follows a 20-year-old woman whose carefully planned life suddenly spirals into chaos.
Additionally, Alia Bhatt will star in Alpha, part of Yash Raj Films’ expanding spy universe. The film features co-stars Sharvari, Anil Kapoor, and Bobby Deol and is scheduled for release on 10 July.
