Australian Police Officer Sets World Record with 733 Pull-Ups in One Hour

An Australian police officer has set a new Guinness World Record for the most pull-ups completed in one hour, performing an astonishing 733 repetitions and surpassing the previous record by eight.

The remarkable feat was achieved by 32-year-old Jade Henderson, who serves in the Australian police force. Her performance broke the earlier record of 725 pull-ups, which was held since 2016 by fellow Australian athlete Eva Clarke.

A Test of Strength and Endurance

The Australian police officer shared that she took on the challenge to test her physical and mental limits. Originally, Henderson had planned to attempt the 24-hour pull-up record, which currently stands at 7,079 β€” a record held by Olivia Vinson, another Australian fitness enthusiast.

However, due to a bicep tear sustained during training, she decided to modify her goal. After taking six weeks off to recover, Henderson focused her training on the one-hour pull-up record, reducing the strain while still aiming for a world-class achievement.

Overcoming Setbacks to Make History

Despite the injury setback, the Australian police officer trained intensively for months to regain her strength. Her discipline and determination paid off as she surpassed expectations and achieved a historic milestone.

Speaking after her record-breaking performance, Henderson said she wanted to inspire others to push beyond their perceived limits. β€œIt’s about proving to yourself what you can do when you stay committed,” she added.

International Recognition

Henderson’s achievement has garnered global recognition, with fitness enthusiasts and police departments across Australia congratulating her on social media. Many praised her perseverance, calling her success a symbol of dedication and resilience.
