Explosions outside two Chandigarh clubs, including rapper Badshah’s Seville Bar and Lounge, were linked to the Lawrence Bishnoi gang, allegedly over failed extortion attempts. The attacks, claimed by Canada-based gangster Goldy Brar in a Facebook post, served as warnings to those ignoring “protection money” demands.

The blasts, which shattered glass windows but caused no injuries, were caught on CCTV, showing a suspect throwing crude bombs before fleeing. Police have launched an investigation, while the club owners have yet to comment.
Goldy Brar, identified as a terrorist by India’s government, is implicated in the 2022 murder of Punjabi singer Sidhu Moosewala. Rohit Godara, another gang member named in the Facebook post, has been linked to multiple crimes, including a firing incident outside Salman Khan’s residence.
Badshah, co-owner of several establishments, inaugurated Seville Bar and Lounge in December 2023. Known for his Bollywood hits, the rapper has yet to release a statement on the incident.
