The upcoming episode of “The Great Indian Kapil Show” is set to feature Grammy award winner Ed Sheeran as its next guest. Netflix recently released a teaser for the episode, showcasing host Kapil Sharma enjoying a lively interaction with the “Bad Habits” singer.
In the teaser, Ed Sheeran is seen immersing himself in Indian culture, singing a Punjabi jingle about desi food and sharing anecdotes about his encounter with Bollywood superstar Shah Rukh Khan at the actor’s residence. Impressively, Ed also delivers an iconic dialogue from Khan’s film “Dilwale Dulhania Le Jayenge,” showcasing his grasp of the Hindi language.

Sporting a stylish black attire, Ed’s appearance promises an episode filled with humor, as evidenced by Kapil Sharma’s witty remark about their age and language proficiency difference, which elicited laughter from the audience.
During his recent visit to Mumbai for his tour, Ed Sheeran had the opportunity to interact with several Indian celebrities. Notably, he visited Shah Rukh Khan’s residence, where he received warm hospitality from Gauri Khan and delighted the hosts with his singing.
Moreover, Ed’s Mumbai concert featured a special moment when he invited Punjabi singer and actor Diljit Dosanjh to join him on stage. The duo performed Diljit’s popular track “Lover,” marking Ed’s first attempt at singing in Punjabi, much to the delight of the audience.
