The Foreign Office Spokesperson shared details of a communication between Additional Foreign Secretary Rahim Hayat Qureshi and his Iranian counterpart Seyed Rasoul Mousavi, characterizing it as “some positive exchanges.” This diplomatic development comes in the aftermath of Pakistan’s retaliatory strikes on terrorists’ hideouts inside Iran, a response to Tehran’s perceived violation of Pakistan’s sovereignty with an earlier strike in Balochistan.
In an X post, the Additional Foreign Secretary conveyed reciprocated sentiments to his Iranian counterpart, emphasizing the historical fraternal relations between Pakistan and Iran.
