Peshawar Police Detain Two Women Over Vulgar TikTok Videos

PESHAWAR – Police have arrested two women for creating and sharing objectionable videos on TikTok, officials said on Thursday.

The operation was conducted by Shahpur police station with assistance from the women’s police team. Authorities confirmed that a formal case has been registered, and legal proceedings are ongoing.

Police action against social evils

Officials emphasized that activities promoting social evils or misleading the youth will not be tolerated. The arrested women allegedly posted content on TikTok that violated societal norms and misused the platform.

“The police are committed to ensuring that social media platforms like TikTok are used responsibly,” said a senior official. “We will take strict action against anyone spreading harmful content.”

Protecting societal values

Authorities highlighted that such steps are necessary to safeguard societal values and protect young users from misleading or inappropriate material online. Police urged citizens to report any suspicious or harmful content circulating on TikTok and other social media platforms.
