Shreyas Iyer Buys Rs 2.9 Crore Apartment in Worli with His Mother

Shreyas Iyer, the Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR) captain and Indian cricketer, has made a notable real estate purchase in Mumbai’s prime Worli area. The middle-order batsman, who is eyeing a return to the Indian team, bought a new apartment along with his mother, Rohini Iyer.

According to property registration documents accessed by Zapkey and reported by the Hindustan Times, the apartment is located on the second floor of Triveni Industrial CHSL in Adarsh Nagar, Worli. The 525 square feet property was purchased for ₹2.9 crore, translating to ₹55,238 per square foot. The transaction, officially registered on September 19, 2024, involved a stamp duty of ₹17.40 lakh and registration charges of ₹30,000.

This recent acquisition adds to Iyer’s growing portfolio of premium properties, highlighting his investment interest beyond cricket.
