The Pakistani entertainment sector appears to be shifting towards anthologies, and the forthcoming film Teri Meri Kahaniyaan, which features a star-studded ensemble and includes three distinct storylines, is one fresh entry to the list. In order to produce the anthology, which will include strong drama, a love tale, and a scary comedy, acclaimed directors Nabeel Qureshi, Nadeem Baig, and Marina Khan worked together. The writers Khalil-ur-Rehman Qamar, Vasay Chaudhry, Ali Abbas Naqvi, and Basit Naqvi will collaborate on the script for The Distribution Club (IMGC) movie.
The cast of the movie, though, is what I find most intriguing.
Wahaj Ali and Mehwish Hayat:
Mehwish Hayat and Wahaj Ali will appear in Baig’s tough drama for the first narrative. This will be Hayat and Baig’s third joint endeavour. The actors will appear together on screen for the first time. The writer of the film has not yet been chosen, but it will feature a “intense storyline”.
Amna Ilyas, Sheheryar Munawar, Ramsha Khan-Zahid Ahmed, and Veteran actor Khan will make his directorial debut with the second tale. The script was written by actor Vasay Chaudhry, who is also well-known for penning successful films like Jawani Phir Nai Ani. Sheheryar Munawar and Ramsha Khan and Amna Ilyas and Zahid Ahmed are two new couples that will be featured as Hira Mani and Salman Saqib
Qureshi wrote and produced the horror-comedy that serves as the anthology’s third piece. Salman Saqib (Mani) and Hira Mani, a real-life couple, will play the main characters in this tale. Mani last appeared in the movie Money Back Guarantee, which also had a brief appearance by his wife. Last Eidul Azha, he also appeared in the horror-comedy Lafangey. The movie is made by See Prime, which is well known for its critically acclaimed YouTube short film Prince Charming. “It’s been a highly exciting time bringing such a high-stakes project together, but the response from the public is truly heartening,” Seemeen Naveed, CEO of SeePrime, stated in the press release. The excitement is almost tangible, and we feel the same way.
On Eidul Azha, the star-studded film is scheduled to be released.
