The highly anticipated Pakistani film The Legend of Maula Jatt, featuring Fawad Khan, Mahira Khan, and Hamza Ali Abbasi, is set to hit Indian cinemas on October 2. Producer Amara Hikmat announced the release, highlighting the film’s global acclaim and its significance for fans in Indian Punjab, who are eager to experience this Punjabi blockbuster.

In a related cultural context, the elections for the executive body of the Pakistan Film Producers Association were held at the Punjabi Complex, with the Shining Lollywood group securing an impressive 14 out of 15 seats, amassing 97% of the votes. Chief Election Commissioner Arshad Warraich revealed key winners such as Shehzad Rafiq and Rabia Hassan, sparking optimism among participants about revitalizing Pakistan’s film industry.

Additionally, a special evening was organized to honor Qaiser Sanaaullah Khan, Chairman of the Punjab Producer Artist Theatre Association, for his immense contributions to stage productions. In further developments, the Punjab Arts Council has stepped up efforts to address obscenity in theaters, issuing show-cause notices to offending artists and seeking bans on inappropriate performances. The council, under Executive Director Ghulam Sagheer Shahid, maintains a strict zero-tolerance policy towards indecency.
