SIALKOT — As Pakistanis continue to bake in the sun, Pakistan’s defence minister, Khawaja Asif, beats the heat in style by visiting his hometown.

In hot and humid weather, children generally visited waterways, but the 73-year-old defence minister startled everyone by plunging into the canal.

Khawaja, dressed casually, received little assistance from others who followed him to the canal, but he managed to walk onto the bridge and jump like an expert.
